Numero Uno! is the first album from Scottish based group La Sonera Calaveras. The music is influenced by Cuban Son, a style originating from 1920's Havana, and still popular today.
Numero Uno is laced with flavours from all over Latin America and further afield. Along with some guests, La Sonera Calaveras have made a vibrant and passionate debut album.
Recorded at Secret Music, Glasgow, the CD features several guest musicians including: David 'Chimp' Robertson, Ricardo Fernandez Pompa, Javier Chernicoff, Lino Rocha, Donald Shaw, and Michael Deans.
